Her experience includes 20 years of educational experience including curriculum consultation for Ellis University, adjunct instructor for Rasmussen College, Northampton Community College, John Hancock University, Penn College and a Full time adjunct professor with Purdue University. She started and ran a small non-public, religious  school located in Trout Run, PA for six years including the education and business portions. She has multiple publications, many focusing on homeschooling and a list of presentations and reviews. Carolyn has developed many college courses on topics such as Advanced Principals and perspectives of Child Development at Rasmussen College and Screening and Assessment of Young Children with special needs.

While her qualifications and experience speak for themselves she also has spent time at West Branch doing teacher evaluations in the last few years. She has known West Branch for many years and remarked, other than homeschooling, West Branch would be the only other school she would have considered for any of her children. She homeschooled all of her children and does reviews for the homeschool community. She has a teaching philosophy that will work well with the “West Branch Way”. When sharing her philosophy, it is amazing to listen to her explain and share her passion for lifelong learning and teaching.
