Our Technology Program is used to compliment and extend our curriculum in each subject.
Our buddy reading program is designed for upstairs and downstairs students to bond with one-another, enjoying each others company to provide a solid peer-to-peer interaction between levels. Students take turns reading to each other, offering their guidance and providing confidence to learn to be better readers and friends.
West Branch School has several special programs that run throughout the year. Read a little about each one below, or click the "+ Read More" under each topic for more information.
Service-learning takes many forms at WBS, including food collection for the needy and litter pickup in Newberry. A collaboration with the Presbyterian Home at Williamsport provides yet another opportunity for the children to learn outside of the classroom walls. Our program includes our students visiting residents at the local Presbyterian Home. They read to the residents, play games and make crafts together. It's a heartwarming experience for our students, and the residents are always happy to see them.
