PERFORMING ARTS

The largest part of our dramatic art curriculum is our annual plays.

Downstairs Play

Downstairs students put together a production in our school for other local schools, families, and friends to come and see. The K-2 age students really enjoy learning their lines, getting in costume, singing songs, and gaining knowledge of how to be on stage in front of an audience. This experience also prepares them for their larger performance at our local theatre, once they become an Upstairs student.

Our 2019 downstairs production of "Coyote Steals the Summer" will be held on Wednesday, March13th. Performances will be at 10:30am and 7:00pm. Call the school to RSVP.

Upstairs Play

Upstairs students (3-6 grade age) put on a play at the Community Theatre League in downtown Williamsport. This is a full-scale production equipped with sound, lighting, costumes and make-up, and stage crew. They typically perform their show 3 times during the course of a weekend. Audience members have come back year after year to support the students, as their dedication and delivery has consistently won them over. This is a great opportunity for parents to get involved, as help is always needed with costume and set design, stage crew, and backstage care.

We are now accepting play patrons and sponsors for our 2019 theatre production of "Peter Pan and Wendy" (March 8th, 9th and 10th)!  Click Here for more information.

Performances are Friday at 10:30am, Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. Tickets for adults are $9 and youth tickets are $6.  Friday's performance is a discounted rate!

Tickets can be purchased at http://www.ctlshows.com/PeterPan
