After School Program
The After School Program is a service provided by West Branch School for the convenience of parents whose schedules preclude them from picking their child(ren) up at our 3:00 pm dismissal.
Parents have one-half hour (until 3:30) to secure their children after school before a charge is incurred. At 3:30, any child that remains at the school automatically becomes part of the After School Program.
Lea Frymire is the director of the After School Program. From 3:00 until 3:30 Lea ensures that children get on the appropriate bus and that students are picked up as scheduled. At 3:30 Lea provides the students with a snack. Following the snack there is either inside or outside play. If the weather is conducive, the children will spend time on the playground. You may pick your child up at any time until 5:30. It is imperative that children be picked up by 5:30 as Lea has other commitments. You do not need to notify the school if your child will be staying for the After School Program. He or she will become part of the program if still at the school at 3:30.
The cost of the A.S.P. is as follows:- The first half hour $2.00 *Any child that is present after 3:30 pm will be billed for the first half hour at minimum, even if he/she does not stay the entire half hour. The billing is then calculated at 15 minute increments at $1.00 for every additional 15 minutes until 5:30. |

Lea will record your child's time each day and at the beginning of each month place a bill in your mailbox for the previous month's use of the A.S.P.
Payment is to be made to the Office Manager. You can place checks made out to West Branch School in the folder where tuition and other payments are made in the office. Please be sure to indicate on the check that it is After School Program payment. If you have any questions, please ask Lea or any of the teachers.
